Job summary

Lonza is offering an entry-level HR Operations & Delivery Apprenticeship in the Manchester area. The program combines on-the-job experience with structured training, aiming to build skills in HR processes, project management, and continuous improvement.

Participants will complete a Level 3 HR Support qualification over 16 months, while working with the PECI team to deliver efficient HR services and support across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with comfort using digital tools.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Curious, proactive learner with passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle through exposure to HR Operations & Delivery projects.
• Support process mapping, root cause analysis and process improvement activities using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and improvement opportunities to enhance service delivery and employee experience.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives, including idea intake, documentation, tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues across Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and HR Digital.
