Job summary

Devon & Cornwall Police is seeking an HR Officer to support employee relations, handle grievance matters, and coordinate investigations. The role is hybrid and based in the South West region of the UK.

The successful candidate will provide professional HR guidance to managers, assist with formal hearings and appeals, and ensure compliant, timely case handling aligned with employment legislation and best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar HR role or strong case management.
• Excellent communication skills and resilience under pressure.
• Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Strong report writing, investigation and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage grievance cases from concern to resolution.
• Undertake impartial investigations into employee relations matters and prepare reports.
