Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an HR Advisor to support day-to-day HR operations in Wythenshawe's industrial and manufacturing sector. You will partner with managers to offer expert guidance on employee relations, investigations and disciplinary matters, while ensuring compliant, well-documented outcomes.

You will analyse HR data, support recruitment and onboarding, and help deliver learning initiatives. The role requires UK employment law knowledge and a CIPD qualification, with a hybrid working

Qualifications

• Sound judgement and informed decision-making within UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels and influence managers.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach with ownership of issues.
• Utilises HR data to inform reporting and decisions.
• Experience in fast-paced operations (manufacturing/logistics) and 24/7 needs.
• Confident in analysing people-related trends and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide expert, practical advice on employee relations matters.
• Guide and support managers through investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Assist in managing attendance, performance and capability issues, promoting early intervention.
• Analyse HR data, metrics and trends to identify risks and drive initiatives.
• Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Contribute to learning and development initiatives to enhance management capability.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and ways of working.
• Assist with employee engagement and internal communications to foster a positive experience.
