Job summary

Netbox Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a growing HR consultancy in Kent to recruit an experienced HR Advisor who will support a varied portfolio of SMEs.

You’ll provide day‑to‑day HR advice on employee relations, performance management, absence, recruitment and onboarding, develop policies, ensure legal compliance and help managers make pragmatic, business‑focused people decisions. Hybrid working in Chatham.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
• Broad HR experience across the employee lifecycle.
• Confidence supporting employee relations matters, including disciplinaries and grievances.
• A sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to advising managers and business owners.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and support across employee matters.
• Handle employee relations, performance management, absence management, and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain employment policies and HR documentation.
• Support managers with sensitive conversations and decisions.
• Ensure HR records are accurate and processes are followed.
