CPS Group are recruiting an HR Advisor to join its Cardiff-based team in a hands-on generalist role. You will support managers and employees across HR matters and contribute to the employee experience in a collaborative environment.

The role focuses on employee relations, advising managers, absence, performance, and ensuring policies reflect UK employment law. CIPD Level 5 is preferred or equivalent experience. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in an HR Advisor or generalist role.
• Practical experience managing employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance).
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it, or equivalent practical experience.

Aufgaben

• Managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and capability matters.
• Managing absence, including return-to-work meetings and long-term sickness.
• Coaching managers on performance management and difficult conversations.
• Supporting probation reviews and addressing concerns fairly.
• Managing holiday approvals and flexible working requests.
• Reviewing and updating HR policies in line with employment law and best practice.
• Maintaining accurate HR records and contributing to monthly HR reporting, identifying trends across absence and employee relations.
• Supporting recruitment activities and working collaboratively with the wider HR team.
