UKNNL is hiring an HR Advisor to support HR Business Partners and provide first line people-related guidance in line with policy and legal requirements. The role focuses on case management and upskilling managers in employee relations, with flexible locations at Risley or Preston and regular site attendance.

The ideal candidate will have CIPD qualifications or be working towards, strong knowledge of employment law, and proven ability to manage complex ER matters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified or working towards CIPD with extensive knowledge of employment legislation.
• Proven ability to handle complex employee relations matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to legal notes, reports and data entry.
• Strong planning, organisational and administrative skills with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and coaching to line managers and employees in line with UKNNL policies and employment law.
• Deliver efficient case management support to managers on employee relations and people management issues.
• Advise on absence management, including occupational health referrals and returned-to-work cases.
• Collaborate with the HR Support Team to ensure timely advice and support to managers and employees.
• Utilise HR metrics to compile data packs and monitor trends.
• Guide job design, recruitment, onboarding, restructuring and redeployment in line with policy and legislation.
• Support cross-functional HR activities and participate in site or company-wide projects.
• Assist with organisational change and site communications when required.
