Job summary

Hamilton Woods Group in Leicester is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team in a hybrid capacity. You will provide expert guidance to managers across the full employee lifecycle, helping to deliver a commercially focused HR service.

This role offers exposure to employee relations, recruitment, data reporting, and HR projects, with support for your professional development and CIPD ambitions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a HR Advisor or Senior HR Coordinator position.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing employee relations cases independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice to managers on employee relations matters.
• Support managers through formal HR processes ensuring legal compliance.
• Assist with recruitment: drafting job descriptions, interviewing and onboarding.
• Manage employee lifecycle administration and HR records.
• Analyse HR data and report on absence, turnover and headcount.
• Support HR projects and initiatives, including engagement, wellbeing, learning and policy reviews.
• Assist with change management activities, restructures and consultations.
