Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group invites applications for an HR Advisor role based in Southampton. You will join a supportive HR team delivering essential services across the organisation, covering employee relations, absence management and wellbeing initiatives.

This position provides exposure to the full employee lifecycle, with a focus on development and engagement. The role requires UK HR experience, CIPD level 5 or progress, strong data skills, and a proactive, inclusive approach in a hybrid working

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or progress towards it.
• Experience as HR Advisor or HR Generalist with UK employment law knowledge.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret HR data and produce reports.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with managers and staff.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and GDPR data handling.
• Proactive, adaptable approach and commitment to inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for managers and employees on HR policies and legislation.
• Support employee relations activities including absence, performance, investigations, wellbeing.
• Analyse HR data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Assist HR Business Partners with engagement, org development and process improvements.
• Participate in diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and broader HR projects.
• Contribute to improving the employee experience and reducing turnover.
