Working as part of a supportive HR team, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR service across the employee lifecycle, supporting both managers and employees while helping to drive continuous improvement across HR processes and practices.
What will the HR Advisor role involve?
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contractual changes, and leaver processes
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from managers and employees
- Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring HR documentation is up to date and compliant
- Assisting with performance management processes, probation reviews, absence management, and employee relations matters
- Supporting employee development initiatives and engagement activities across the business
- Producing HR reports and management information to support decision-making
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and company policies
- Contributing to ongoing HR projects and process improvement initiatives
Suitable Candidate for the HR Advisor vacancy:
- Previous experience within a HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, or HR Administration role
- Good understanding of the employee lifecycle and current UK employment legislation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable manner
- High levels of confidentiality, discretion, and attention to detail
- CIPD Level 3 qualified, studying towards CIPD, or equivalent HR experience would be advantageous
