Job summary

Hamilton Woods Associates is seeking a Housing Manager to lead the lettings, tenancy management and estate services for a West Yorkshire provider. The role is permanent with hybrid working, two days in Kirklees offices and three days working from home.

You will manage a team of four Housing Officers plus a Lettings and Leasehold Officer, driving performance, customer insight and policy development to deliver a high standard of service across the neighbourhoods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a housing management role at supervisory or management level.
• Strong knowledge of tenancy management and lettings/leasehold management.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead on lettings, leasehold and tenancy management to ensure excellent tenant service.
• Mentor and manage a team of four Housing Officers and a Lettings & Leasehold Officer.
• Lead tenancy and estate visits, and neighbourhood activities.
• Oversee marketing, allocation and letting of properties.
• Investigate complaints and respond according to policy and procedures.
• Utilise customer insight to inform service improvements.
• Contribute to policy development and procedures to drive best practice.
• Monitor and quality-check performance.
