Job summary

Metropolitan Thames Valley (MTVH) is seeking a Local Housing Manager to deliver housing and estate services across leasehold properties within a defined patch. You will act as the front-facing representative, coordinating internal and external services to meet diverse customer needs and uphold a high standard of service.

The role is office-based 9-5:30, 37.5 hours a week, with on-site work two days and three days remote or in local office.

Qualifications

• Essential car user with full driving licence.
• Experience of working in a social housing setting is essential.
• Knowledge of housing practice, housing law and service charge management is essential.

• Experience dealing with customers with complex needs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external services to meet customer needs.
• Act as front-facing representative for MTVH in leasehold services.
• Manage relationships with Local Authority, external managing agents and partners.
• Be the point of contact for ASB, estate services, lease management and enforcement.
• Support local initiatives and occasional weekend work when required.
