Everpool Recruitment in Reading is seeking a qualified Functional Assessor (WCA) for a hybrid role, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with both home and office-based work.

You will conduct functional assessments for individuals claiming health-related benefits, review medical evidence, and produce professional reports for the DWP. The role offers training, a salary around £50k, and a clear path for career progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post-registration UK experience.
• Active NMC or HCPC or GPHC registration.
• Strong communication, assessment, report-writing and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting telephone and face-to-face assessments.
• Reviewing medical evidence and claimant information.
• Producing clear, professional reports for the DWP.
