Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking qualified healthcare professionals to join our Functional Assessor team across England. You'll assess how health conditions affect daily living and work, using your clinical knowledge to inform DWP decisions. Training is provided.

Roles are full-time, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working. Open to experienced nurses, therapists, and pharmacists who have post-registration expertise and HCPC/NMC registration.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• At least 1 year of active NMC or HCPC registration.
• Excellent report-writing and typing skills.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage caseload independently.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.
• Explore how health conditions affect everyday activities and work.
• Review medical evidence and health questionnaires.
• Ask detailed questions about functional ability.
• Produce clear, accurate and objective reports for the DWP.
• Make recommendations based on your assessment findings.
