Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is seeking a Functional Assessor to join our Reading team. You will conduct PIP and WCA assessments by telephone, video or face-to-face, using structured questioning and clinical reasoning.

Qualifications

• Active professional registration (NMC/HCPC/GPhC) required.
• Minimum 12 months post-registration clinical experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and reasoning skills.
• Excellent report-writing abilities.
• Good IT and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structured PIP/WCA assessments via telephone, video or in-person.
• Take detailed clinical histories with structured questioning.
• Assess impact of physical, mental and cognitive conditions.
• Review medical evidence and supporting information.
• Produce clear, evidence-based reports.
• Manage own caseload while meeting quality standards.
