Job summary

Everpool Recruitment is hiring Functional Assessors for hybrid roles across England. The role involves conducting telephone, video and face-to-face assessments to determine how health conditions impact daily living and work capability.

You will review medical evidence, ask detailed questions, and produce objective reports for the DWP. Starting salary £48,000 with potential to rise to £49,000 after 12 months, plus a bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent post-registration experience in an adult setting.
• At least 1 year of active NMC or HCPC registration.
• Strong communication and assessment skills.
• Excellent report-writing and typing skills.
• Good IT skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video and face-to-face assessments.
• Explore how health conditions affect everyday activities and work.
• Review medical evidence and health questionnaires.
• Ask detailed questions about functional ability.
• Produce clear, accurate and objective reports for the DWP.
• Make recommendations based on your assessment findings.
