Hybrid / Remote Engineer

Reports to: Service Manager

Salary: Competitive

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to support a rental department and assist with the logistics, operation, and build-up of a new hybrid power fleet. You’ll act as the link between depot teams and customers—supporting equipment setup, training engineers, and ensuring smooth delivery of hybrid energy systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with sales and rental teams to ensure correct equipment use and specification.
  • Provide 2nd line customer support and resolve technical queries.
  • Attend project kick-off meetings and assist with equipment specification.
  • Support engineers with installation and maintenance of hybrid systems, helping develop their skills.
  • Monitor installations and report improvements or issues.
  • Ensure safe and compliant maintenance, storage, and allocation of hire assets.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and general housekeeping across depots and vehicles.
Skills & Experience
