Job summary

Central Law Training is seeking an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Tutor for a fixed-term, full-time role at our Birmingham campus. Hybrid work combines on-site teaching with remote material preparation.

You will guide students in developing academic English and study skills across Law, Business, Criminology, Psychology and Computer Science, including one-to-one and group sessions, both in person and online.

Qualifications

• Must have an English language teaching qualification (CELTA/DELTA/TESOL/TEFL or equivalent).
• Experience delivering EAP and academic skills development using varied teaching methods.
• Ability to provide student-centred guidance and adapt to diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class guidance and practical support to develop academic English and assessment literacy.
• Lead and facilitate timetabled EAP and academic skills sessions, workshops and webinars.
• Develop high-quality self-directed learning resources for independent student study.
