Job summary

Central Law Training is seeking an English for Academic Purposes Lead for a fixed-term role through August 2027. The role collaborates with the current EAP Lead to shape, develop and embed the university's EAP provision, supporting student attainment and strengthening academic English across the institution.

The post is hybrid, with work from home and the London Bloomsbury campus, and involves leading a growing team of Student Learning Skills Specialists.

Qualifications

• Leadership in EAP within UK higher education
• Strong communication and relationships with stakeholders
• Experience developing and embedding EAP provision

Responsibilities

• Shape, develop and deliver the University's EAP provision, ensuring effective and consistent support for students.
• Lead the design, development and delivery of EAP teaching and learning, on campus and online.
• Manage and motivate the Student Learning Skills Specialists team and support their development.
• Embed EAP support within programmes to enhance student attainment.
• Develop and deliver EAP and assessment literacy interventions (1:1, workshops, webinars, self-learning).
• Evaluate EAP provision and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
