Central Law Training is seeking an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Tutor to join the Library & Learning Skills team on a fixed-term basis until August 2027. The role is based on Bristol campus with hybrid work, combining on-site classroom guidance with remote preparation and resource development.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in English language teaching (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL or equivalent).
• Experience supporting students with English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and academic skills development.
• Ability to provide student-centred guidance and adapt to diverse learner needs.
• Confidence facilitating learning activities and sessions for individuals and small groups.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive approach to improving the student learning experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-class guidance and practical support to students, developing academic English, assessment literacy and study skills.
• Offer targeted learning support through one-to-one appointments, small-group activities, workshops and online guidance.
• Lead and facilitate timetabled EAP and academic skills sessions, workshops and webinars as required.
• Develop and maintain high-quality self-directed learning resources.
• Collaborate with Faculty and Library & Learning Skills to deliver and evaluate learning support programmes.
