Job summary

Commercial is seeking a Digital Solutions Engineer to design and deliver high-quality technical installations, with both remote and on-site support. You will collaborate with Sales, Pre-sales and Support to scope technology Deliverables, and you’ll work across Telecoms, MPS, and Document Capture / Workflow offerings.

The role blends pre-sales, installation, and customer-facing support with UK-wide travel. This hands-on, field-based position requires strong technical skills, a proactive attitude,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with digital telephony systems and cloud-based solutions.
• Hands-on knowledge of mobile business telephony integration.
• Experience with MPS technologies and secure print management.
• Familiarity with scanning tech and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Windows server and cloud Microsoft services.
• Strong networking knowledge including routers, firewalls and wifi.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and project docs.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills, attention to detail.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to support pre-sales activities and validate solutions.
• Review requirements and project docs to scope hardware/software/services.
• Conduct site surveys and produce detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Assist workshop team with pre-staging, setup and configuration.
• Install and commission hardware and software within the Digital Workspace portfolio.
• Lead teams during installation and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Create post-installation reports and hand over to Service team.
• Support Service team on-site to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Participate in supplier/product evaluations and due diligence tasks.
