Job summary

Freedom are recruiting a Senior Project Manager in Scotland to lead transmission and distribution projects from 11kV to 132kV. Hybrid working with travel across the northern regions and islands is expected. You will manage multiple PMs, coordinate teams, liaise with clients and deliver safe, profitable, high-quality networks on time.

You should have an Electrical Engineering degree or HNC, strong knowledge of power systems, and CDM/site safety experience. SSE DNO authorisation is a plus.

Qualifications

• HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering (or time served).
• Good operational knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
• Site safety passport and/or CDM site experience.
• SSE DNO authorisation or equivalent preferred.
• Based in Scotland with willingness to travel across Scotland and islands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple project managers and teams for transmission/distribution schemes.
• Ensure safe, on-time delivery, including planning, delivery, commissioning and handover.
• Oversee on-site work, resource deployment and interface with clients.
• Maintain reports, drawings, test results and as-built records.
• Uphold health and safety as a core priority under CDM regs.
