Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager to lead water asset design projects across the UK. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams to deliver within scope, time and budget, ensuring strong commercial control and client satisfaction.

Key capabilities include delivering infrastructure programmes, managing NEC contracts, and applying rigorous risk, scheduling and cost controls. The role supports flexible, hybrid working with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects.
• Experience with NEC contracts or related accreditation.
• Membership in professional bodies such as APM, PMI or ICE.
• Proficient with PM tools and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of water asset design projects across the UK within scope, time and budget.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams and ensure successful project completion.
• Develop project plans, cost estimates, risk registers and schedules.
• Own the P&L, including revenue, margins, overheads and cash collection.
• Monitor schedules, budgets and forecasts; address risks and changes.
• Ensure effective contract administration and change management.
• Communicate project information to the team and client clearly.
• Promote continuous improvement and capture lessons learned.
