Job summary
Avove Utilities is recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer to strengthen our UK Water Design Team. The role focuses on water/wastewater and infrastructure design across frameworks with Northumbrian Water Group, Severn Trent Water, United Utilities, and others.
Based in/around Glasgow, with hybrid working options across UK offices (Glasgow, Durham or Birmingham). You will lead design delivery from feasibility to construction, and support budgets and junior staff development.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in Water/Wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure works.
- Proven ability to lead and work within a team environment to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office and capable of producing clear English reports.
Responsibilities
- Produce and check design concepts, calculations and drawings.
- Supervise junior design team members to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Assist in professional development of project team members.
