Barnsley Council is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our busy Contact Centre in the Town Centre. You will deliver outstanding customer service, support residents, and guide customers to the right service with empathy.

The role offers 37 hours per week, a permanent contract and hybrid working from our town centre office with opportunities for flexible home working. The ideal candidate will have four GCSEs (grades 9–4), prior customer support experience and good digital literacy.

Qualifications

• Applicants should possess four GCSEs (grades 9–4).
• Previous experience in customer support.
• Digital proficiency and ability to thrive in a high-volume contact centre.
