Barnsley Council is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic Contact Centre in the Town Centre, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with some home working. The role offers a permanent contract, a salary of £27,274–£29,071, and a range of rewards including flexible working, discounts, health and wellbeing support, and opportunities for training and development.

Interviews are planned for week commencing 21 September; applicants should have four GCSEs (grades 9-4)

Qualifications

• Four GCSEs (grades 9-4) required.
• Experience in customer support.
• Digital skills and ability to thrive in a high-volume contact centre.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents in the Contact Centre.
• Offer guidance and support to customers.
