Job summary

Starling Bank is seeking a Customer Service Team Member in Cardiff. You will be the first point of contact for customers across phone, email, live chat and social media, delivering exceptional service with ownership for effective solutions.

Hybrid working pattern with evenings and 25 hours per week; training and progression are provided, and you will join a mission to offer fair, human banking with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a contact centre not essential but helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
• Basic IT skills to navigate Starling laptops and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, live chat and social media.
• Show ownership and accountability for solutions that benefit customers.
• Maintain high service standards and continually improve customer service.
• Respond to customer complaints and escalate where necessary.
• Support a continuous improvement ethos in the contact centre.
• Seek to improve processes and workflows.
• Work well within a dynamic team environment.
