Job summary

Starling Bank in Cardiff/Southampton is seeking a Customer Service Team Member to join our hybrid-supported contact centre. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling queries across channels and providing timely, accurate support.

Training, career development, and a shift pattern including days, evenings, and overnight are available. The role emphasizes ownership, proactive problem-solving, and a customer-obsessed mindset, with a starting salary of £28,000 FTE and a commitment

Qualifications

Experience in a contact centre is not essential but demonstrates understanding of great customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and handling difficult interactions.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, live chat and social media.
Show ownership and accountability to offer helpful solutions.
Maintain high standards and continually improve the service for customers.
Respond to customer complaints and escalate when necessary.
Support a continuous improvement ethos within the contact centre.
Actively seek to improve processes and workflows.
Work well within a dynamic team environment.
