Job summary

Huntress is seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a temporary assignment with hybrid working. You will manage a portfolio, drive collections to minimise debt, and build strong customer relationships while reporting to senior stakeholders.

The role focuses on timely payments, accurate records and collaboration across the Finance team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in credit control, excels in communication, and can handle direct debit processing, reporting, and process

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' credit control experience.
• Experience with B2B collections and debt recovery.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Proficient IT and MS Office skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily credit control activity across telephone, email and written correspondence.
• Produce daily arrears reports for senior stakeholders.
• Liaise with external debt collection agencies.
• Oversee litigation cases where required.
• Maintain customer records and direct debit mandates.
• Process daily direct debit collections and cash allocation.
• Handle queries and complaints professionally.
• Prepare monthly arrears reports for Board.
• Develop and improve collection processes and procedures.
• Support audits and compliance as required.
• Collaborate with the wider Finance team and other departments.
