Confidential is seeking a capable credit control professional to manage a ledger, chase overdue invoices by phone and email, and ensure payments are collected in a timely manner. You'll handle disputes, maintain records, and work to keep customer promises to pay.

The role emphasises relationship building and confident communication with customers and internal colleagues. You’ll need prior experience in debt management, a good understanding of credit-control processes, and the ability to handle

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing debt in a busy environment.
• Comfortable dealing with people.
• Understanding of credit-control, sales ledgers and credit-management processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own ledger and keep overdue debt under control.
• Chase outstanding invoices by phone and email.
• Keep accurate records of account activity and convert promises to payments.
• Resolve disputes and identify reasons invoices are not paid.
• Escalate genuine credit risks and maintain proper records.
