Job summary

Consula Group LTD in London is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy finance team. You will manage the full credit control function and ensure timely collection of outstanding debt.

You will communicate confidently with clients, build relationships, and handle high-volume workloads with a methodical and detail-oriented approach. Hybrid working is available, with a permanent role in a well-established business.

Qualifications

• Experience in Credit Control reducing debtor days.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Proficient with accounting software and Excel.
• London-based or able to commute to London.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy ledger, proactively chasing invoices by phone, email and letter.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and resolve payment issues.
• Monitor debtor accounts and escalate overdue balances per policy.
• Allocate cash receipts and reconcile accounts regularly.
• Prepare aged debtor reports and present to the finance team.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and customer service to resolve billing queries.
• Assess creditworthiness and recommend credit limits.
• Support month-end processes and reporting.
