Job summary

Homes England is seeking a Content Designer to create, evaluate, update and review content across the end-to-end user journey on GOV.UK and other digital platforms. You will join the User Centred Design team, a passionate group focused on improving how Homes England delivers accessible, clear content.

This is a hands-on role combining technical skill with user-centred thinking, ensuring publications meet Government Digital Service standards and are easy to understand for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering content for GOV.UK or government portals.
• Ability to write clear, plain English content that is accessible.
• Experience working with policy teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of content standards and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, update and review content across the end-to-end user journey on GOV.UK and other digital platforms.
• Collaborate with policy teams and regional teams to ensure publications are clear, consistent and accessible.
• Ensure publications meet accessibility and Government Digital Service standards.
• Support strategic projects and develop guidance content using Whitehall Publisher CMS.
