Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks a Client and Work Winning Lead for Civil Infrastructure with a strong background in civil engineering and development of client relationships. You will lead strategic opportunities, drive bid quality and governance, and collaborate with regional teams to shape winning proposals across Civil sectors.

You will influence major client relationships, embed best practice in pipeline development, and work to secure opportunities that matter to the business.

Qualifications

• Strong Civil engineering, transport and/or infrastructure experience.
• Established networks across clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead strategic leadership and hands-on delivery with pace and resilience.
• Proven track record in securing new work through capture planning and bidding.
• Experience using client insight and market intelligence to improve win probability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership promoting growth and ownership for client engagement and work winning.
• Manage and strengthen our pipeline to ensure sustainable workload.
• Lead capture planning and deliver winning proposals for priority opportunities.
• Embed best practice and lessons learned across regional growth leads.
• Shape win themes, client messaging and commercial strategy.
• Develop strategic client plans for priority clients and sectors.
• Support bid/no-bid decisions and cross-selling within business units.
• Build relationships with contractors and consulting partners for major opportunities.
• Support recruitment of work-winning resources to meet future needs.
• Ensure governance standards for bids and opportunities.
