Job summary

EXPEDITE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LIMITED is recruiting a Building Surveyor to join a national property and construction consultancy with a strong South West presence. The role is Exeter-based with hybrid working and regular site surveying across Devon.

The ideal candidate will have RICS membership or be working towards Chartered status, and experience in building surveying, regulations knowledge, and client liaison. APC training and professional support are offered.

Qualifications

• Membership of RICS or working towards Chartered status.
• Proven experience in a Building Surveying role.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and construction legislation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects in line with RICS standards and best practice.
• Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Lead delivery of high-quality client-focused projects.
• Prepare specifications, drawings, and risk assessments for refurbishments and new-builds.
• Produce tender documentation and administer contracts; monitor site work.
• Carry out building condition surveys and planned maintenance.
