Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd. is partnering with a multi-disciplinary property consultancy to recruit a Building Surveyor in Exeter. The role combines office, home and site work across Devon, delivering surveying services to clients to RICS standards.

You will lead building surveying projects from inception to completion, prepare specifications and drawings, carry out condition surveys and provide technical guidance. A driving licence and strong communication are essential for autonomous delivery.

Qualifications

• RICS membership (or working towards chartership).
• Experience with new build and refurbishment projects.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead building surveying projects in line with RICS standards.
• Provide expert technical advice to clients and colleagues.
• Prepare specifications, drawings, tenders and risk assessments.
• Manage contracts, monitor sites and ensure quality throughout.
• Carry out condition surveys, dilapidations, defect analysis and technical reporting.
• Contribute to conservation projects and innovative repair solutions.
