Job summary

Kier Group are recruiting a Building Services Manager for our Scotland team, based in Stepps/Dalkeith with hybrid working. You will provide essential MEP expertise from tender through to delivery and commissioning, acting as the in-house SME and coordinating with project teams to ensure quality and compliance.

You should have strong M&E knowledge, demonstrated main contracting experience, and a track record delivering sizeable building services packages across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of M&E design and installations across HVAC systems.
• Experience in a main contracting environment with specialist subcontractors.
• Proven track record delivering large building services packages across full lifecycle.
• Degree-level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline (NVQ/HND/HNC/CIBSE).
• SMSTS 5 Day Cert, CSCS Card, and a Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical expertise to bids, pre-construction and on-site delivery teams.
• Selecting and managing specialist subcontractors to Kier standards.
• Coordinating M&E packages with design teams on site.
• Managing the commissioning process and maintaining manuals.
• Reviewing submittals and quality of installations by subcontractors.
