Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Building Services Manager to lead the design, delivery and commissioning of building services across office, site and hybrid setups from our Stepps offices. This role requires coordinating preconstruction work with Tender teams, vetting subcontractors and ensuring installation aligns with the programme and regulations.

You will drive H&S and quality on site, lead progress meetings, and ensure the as-installed drawings and O&M manuals are delivered.

Qualifications

• Experienced in managing Building Services in a construction environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering background.
• Experience with design, delivery and commissioning.
• Excellent communication at all levels and teamwork.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, delivery and commissioning of Building Services on construction projects.
• Preconstruction: work with Tender & Preconstruction Teams to reflect client needs.
• Vet subcontractor tenders for compliance with ERs.
• Integrate building services into the delivery programme and plans.
• Lead meetings with sub-contractors; ensure QA and safety.
• Oversee commissioning, training and operation handover to users.
• Produce as-installed drawings and O&M manuals.
