Job summary

Kier Group in Shaftesbury, Dorset, seeks a Senior MEP Project Manager to lead complex design and build projects within the Kier Mechanical & Electrical team on a large custodial sector project.

You will oversee pre-construction and construction activities for projects up to £45m, manage subcontractors, ensure safety and compliance, maintain client relationships, and report progress while applying sound commercial awareness and planning software skills.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS qualification with relevant project management experience.
• Experience as a Project Manager with knowledge of contract conditions and construction law.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels to achieve client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Leading pre-construction and construction activities for projects up to £45m, ensuring delivery within budget, to programme and quality expectations.
• Promoting a strong safety, health and environmental culture across all project activities.
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers, building collaborative relationships and ensuring performance standards are met.
• Overseeing design management, programme delivery and quality compliance in line with project execution plans.
• Maintaining excellent client relationships through clear communication and regular reporting on project progress.
