Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a BI Report Developer on a 12-month FTC in Coventry. You will own the full end-to-end report development process, gathering requirements, and turning them into detailed specifications for self-serve reports used by operations and finance teams.

You will design, build, test, and validate reports in Power BI, using SQL and DAX. Strong communication and planning skills are essential as you collaborate with Reporting Partners and Business Requesters to deliver accurate data

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and DAX for data manipulation and modeling.
• Experience building reports in Power BI for operational and financial users.
• Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test self-serve reports ensuring timelines and delivery plans are met.
• Create technical specifications and perform functional unit testing throughout report development.
• Understand user requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable reports.
• Investigate and fix incidents on self-serve reports to maintain data accuracy.
