Job summary

Severn Trent is recruiting a BI Report Developer to own end-to-end report development for key business areas in Coventry. You will translate requirements into detailed specifications, build self-serve Power BI reports, and collaborate with operations and finance to deliver timely insights.

You'll use SQL and DAX to design, test, and validate reports, create technical specifications, and investigate incidents on self-serve dashboards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL and DAX for building data models and reports.
• Experience with Power BI to create interactive and self-serve dashboards.
• Ability to understand reporting requirements and translate into specification and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test self-serve outputs and reports to meet business needs.
• Create technical specifications and perform functional unit testing throughout development.
• Investigate and fix incidents on self-serve reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
