Job summary

HSB in the United Kingdom is seeking a Power BI Developer to design and maintain high-quality reporting solutions, dashboards and semantic models, partnering with stakeholders, data engineers and business users to turn data into actionable insights.

You will work across Power BI Service, DAX and SQL to deliver trusted, performant reporting, while upholding data governance and automation best practices in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing Power BI reporting solutions from multiple data sources.
• Experience with Power BI Service, row-level security and deployment.
• Strong SQL and DAX skills with data governance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective reporting.
• Ensure reporting is accurate, reliable, performant and aligned with governance standards.
• Use data to reveal actionable insights beyond initial requirements.
• Monitor reporting effectiveness and continuously improve user experience.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
