Job summary

Simarco is looking for an experienced Reporting & BI Analyst to join our IT team, based in either Witham, Essex or Stoke-on-Trent. The role is Hybrid after probation, with a 9am-5:30pm workday and a salary described as Market Leading.

You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, create operational, commercial and financial reporting, and use Power BI, SQL, Excel and Power Query to analyse and transform data. This position requires strong data-analytic skills and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong experience using Power BI.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query and complex formulas.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database querying.
• Experience extracting, validating and analysing data from multiple systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, including experience producing KPI reporting and management information.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
• Confidence working with stakeholders at different levels.
• The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Experience within freight forwarding, logistics, transport or supply chain would be advantageous, along with knowledge of VBA, macros or Microsoft Fabric.
