Job summary

Mayhew in London is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive earned-income and commercial opportunities within the Income, Audiences & Partnerships department. You will identify opportunities, develop commercially viable ideas, and turn them into sustainable income streams, aligning with the charity’s mission.

The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office, with initial income targets and potential for longer-term growth.

• Experience developing income pipelines and converting prospects into income
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and craft pitches
• Strong planning and organisational abilities to manage multiple opportunities

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert earned-income and commercial opportunities with viability and income potential
• Lead the business development pipeline, growing TheraPaws and paid services, converting prospects into income
• Explore, test and develop new products and income streams such as training, workshops, and licensing
• Collaborate with Mayhew colleagues to identify shared opportunities and maximise commercial potential
• Build and manage relationships with commercial partners, negotiating opportunities and growing their involvement
• Monitor performance and contribute to sustainable, long-term income growth
