Job summary

Intec Select Ltd. is seeking an Applications Support Engineer in Maidenhead on a hybrid pattern. You will provide Level 1 support, triage escalations, and assist with improvements and projects across core business applications.

You will work with internal teams and external vendors to keep systems reliable, support data management, and deliver effective user support. Strong troubleshooting and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in application, IT or technical support.
• L1/L2/L3 application support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting business applications and users.
• Understanding of databases and data management.
• Experience gathering requirements and resolving system issues.
• Experience working with vendors or SaaS providers.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for core business applications.
• Elevate complex L2/L3 issues and manage escalations.
• Troubleshoot application, database and system issues.
• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements.
• Support application integration, automation and process improvements.
• Assist with operational reporting and data management.
• Maintain system documentation and diagrams.
• Support vendors, SaaS providers and service partners.
• Ensure access, licensing, security and disaster recovery guidance.
• Contribute to testing and implementation of projects.
