Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an Applications Engineer for a 6-month hybrid contract in Corsham. You will deploy, configure and support enterprise applications, spanning Windows and Linux environments, and work across design, development, testing and production lifecycles.

You'll produce technical artefacts such as design docs, build guides and runbooks, while ensuring secure-by-design deployment practices and effective incident resolution with Service Management.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering hands-on application deployment in enterprise environments.
• Experience configuring and supporting Windows and/or Linux servers.
• Knowledge of integrating with Active Directory/LDAP and databases.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support enterprise applications across Windows and/or Linux.
• Integrate applications with AD/LDAP, databases, and networking.
• Configure environments across development, test, and production.
• Apply secure-by-design principles for deployment and configuration.
