Job summary

inTEC in Reigate is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, networking and security environments. The role is hybrid with three days in the office and two days remote.

The successful candidate will resolve technical issues, mentor junior engineers, and support the delivery of secure, reliable customer environments while collaborating with the service desk, professional services and account management teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT support experience, ideally within an MSP.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
• Strong networking and security troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the highest technical escalation point for service desk incidents.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Windows Server environments.
• Support networking, firewalls, VPNs and security solutions.
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent reoccurrence.
• Work closely with customers to resolve critical incidents while ensuring systems remain secure, stable, and aligned with best practices.
• Create technical documentation and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
• Provide recommendations for improvements to clients’ IT systems and workflows
• Alongside the Account Management team help, design and deliver solutions alongside the professional services team
