Job summary

Green & Wolvin Recruitment is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a Derby, Derbyshire role. You will report to the Finance Manager and handle supplier invoices, forecasting cash, and payments in GBP and FX, supporting a busy logistics-focused team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in finance with strong AP experience, advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot), and FX knowledge. Hybrid working is offered after probation as you join a dynamic multinational client.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a financial role, with most in accounts payable.
• Experience with high volume invoice processing, payment forecasting and bank transactions.
• FX payment experience across GBP/USD/EUR is advantageous.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Commutable to Derbyshire on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable system across multiple sites and countries.
• Control supplier invoices and overhead invoices in in-house systems.
• Resolve supplier invoice disputes through active discussions.
• Perform monthly statement reconciliation and cash forecasting.
• Execute manual GBP and FX payments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve cost queries.
• Address external accounting queries and provide finance team support.
• Oversee daily Direct Debit reporting and payment schedules.
