• Comfortable on the phone and handling high volume calls

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and profitability of a portfolio of debtors through efficient Sales Ledger management
• Contact debtors in line with client confidentiality to provide information on balances
• Assess whether debts are collectible based on circumstances and precedents
• Research aged debt and prioritise follow-ups with high-risk debtors/clients
• Maintain regular contact with the relationship manager for seamless service
• Identify and escalate risks or opportunities within the portfolio to relevant parties
• Collect financial information from clients (PAYE, VAT, bank statements, management accounts)
• Allocate cash accurately to client sales ledgers using AQ and allocate cash through suspense when needed
• Process complex schedules using various methods to ensure timely and accurate entries in AQ
• Record all relevant information in client files
