Job summary

Sussex Community Dermatology Service (SCDS) is seeking a 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join our in-house IT Helpdesk, supporting NHS dermatology operations on a hybrid basis across Sussex.

You'll administer AD/Entra ID and M365, manage Intune deployments, and troubleshoot Windows devices, hardware, and connectivity. Occasional site deployments and laptop reimaging are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Based in Sussex or within commutable distance with a full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting across hardware, software, imaging, printing and connectivity.
• Experience deploying and supporting devices with Microsoft Intune (Windows, iOS, Android), including reimaging and configuring laptops.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support, coordinate with MSP and keep tickets updated to resolution.
• Administer AD/Entra ID and Microsoft 365 users, MFA, licensing, and mailbox access.
• Set up new clinic sites with IT equipment and network connectivity in partnership with NHS IT.
• Reimage and deploy laptops for new starters; wipe and reimage leavers' devices.
