Job summary

Jago Consultants in the United Kingdom is seeking a capable 1st/2nd line support engineer to join our IT team based in Newhaven, Sussex. You will handle IT issues in a pressurised environment, manage queues, log incidents with detail, and troubleshoot connectivity and hardware.

The role is split 50/50 between office and on-site work; you will work with Active Directory, Office 365, DNS/DHCP, and VoIP, with driving license required. DBS check required; commuting to clients on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT support role.
• Active Directory
• VoIP Technologies
• WordPress, HTML and CSS is desirable
• Good network knowledge (setting up routers, wireless networks, DNS & DHCP)
• Knowledge of Office 365 & servers
• Knowledge of networking and virtualisation
• Full UK clean driving license

Responsibilities

• Resolving IT support issues in a pressurised environment.
• Managing work queues and prioritising IT support queries.
• Ensuring customers' support issues are logged and recorded with sufficient detail.
• Troubleshooting / network connectivity.
