Job summary

You will create polished gameplay animations, UI motion, and player interactions across slots, casino, instant win, and casual games, collaborating with artists, designers, and developers. You will translate briefs into fluid animations, help shape animation standards, and explore AI-assisted workflows to boost creative quality and production efficiency while meeting production

Qualifications

• Commercial experience creating 2D animations for games or related creative industry.
• Strong Spine 2D portfolio/showreel demonstrating high-quality animation.
• Experience using Spine 2D including rigging, skinning, keyframe animation, export workflows.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, motion, and player feedback.
• Experience collaborating with artists, designers, developers, producers, and external partners.
• Comfortable using, or keen to learn, AI-assisted creative tools to support production.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• UK-based and able to attend the office on agreed hybrid working days.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D animations using Spine 2D for gameplay features, symbols, UI, and player interactions.
• Rig, animate, optimise, and export production-ready animation assets for web-based games.
• Develop gameplay animations, feature sequences, UI transitions, and player feedback that enhance game feel and engagement.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, developers, producers, and stakeholders to ensure quality and feasibility.
• Review and refine animations based on direction, feedback, and gameplay requirements.
• Use AI-assisted tools to support ideation, production, and efficiency.
• Maintain organised animation libraries and production-ready Spine assets.
